Q: I need only 2.6 metres of fabric. Do I need to order 3 metres?
A: You can order any quantity of fabric between 1 and 999 metres, in 10 cm increments online. You can edit the quantity in the Shopping Cart, by entering 2.6 as the Quantity and clicking on Update Shopping Cart. The price will be updated immediately in the Cart. Minimum order is 1 metre per fabric.
Q: I need a VAT receipt for my order. Can I email you to get one?
A: If you have a customer account with us, you can simply log in to your Account, selecting VIEW ORDER under Recent Orders, then click on Invoices at the top and selecting Print Invoice under the address details. If you have placed the order as Guest, please email us and we will send you the VAT invoice within 3 working days.
Q: How much will the fabric shrink in water wash?
A: This depends on the fabric. All our fabrics are made of natural fibres which will shrink approximately 3-7 percent when washed. We recommend either washing the fabric before it is used or using dry cleaning / dusting / vacuum cleaning. We have a few fabrics that have been pre-washed and that will not shrink when washed.
Q: The colours on the website look different from the samples I ordered. Why is that?
A: We try to match the colours on the website as well as possible, but for technical reasons (monitor colour settings, lighting) the colours will differ slightly. This is why we offer 5 free fabric samples that we recommend you should order before placing an order for fabric or made to measure products.
Q: I would like to place an order for more than 30 metres of fabric. Can I get a discount?
A: You may always ask us. This depends on the fabric. For fabrics that are on sale for example, we rarely are able to offer any further discounts on.
Q: I need blackout curtains, but I cannot find any on the website?
A: You may choose from many different lining materials, when you configure your made to measure curtains. Blackout lining is one of the alternatives, as well as Thermal lining, cotton lining etc. The blackout lining will very effectively block the sunlight.
