FAQs

Is cotton a good choice of fabric for curtains?
Yes, definitely. Cotton is lightweight but strong, durable, and easy to clean, making it an ideal choice for curtains. It’s also an eco-friendly choice that’s affordable in comparison to other fabrics like silk. Plus, it looks great in the glow of sunlight. (Though perhaps not as good as linen fabric!)
Are cotton curtains easy to maintain?
Yes. You can machine wash cotton curtains to keep them clean. Make sure you use the gentle cycle and cool or lukewarm water. Avoid a spin cycle, and let them naturally dry by hanging them on a clothesline. Please bear in mind that fabrics like cotton and linen, as well as curtain linings, do shrink during their first wash. To avoid that, we recommend you take them to the dry cleaners.
