Coronavirus (COVID-19) update for our customers

We are taking the current global situation around COVID-19 very seriously at Ada & Ina.

As the situation with Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to escalate and in line with Government guidance, we have closed our factory outlet shop on 18th March 2020 until further notice, both to stop spreading of the virus and to ensure our normal online operations will have as little interruptions or delays as possible. These measures are to help with social distancing and protect both our customers and employees.

Unfortunately we are not able to offer a click and collect service at the moment. Our shop will remain closed until further notice. The possibility of re-opening the shop will be reviewed in February 2021. In the meanwhile we would like to ask you to shop online. Our warehouse is still sending parcels out daily. We apologise for any further inconvenience.

The government encourages online retail to keep open for business. Whilst we are doing all we can to keep our staff and customers safe, we would like to reassure our customers that our online shop is open for business, including our free fabric samples being sent daily.

Safeguard procedures have already been put in place to help us operate as normal as possible and having deliveries leaving us on time but due to the current scenario, international deliveries may incur delays up to 24 hours compared to normal delivery times and we ask for your patience with any delays that may occur. Currently our operations do not have any delays. DPD deliveries in UK are currently working normally.

Royal Mail seems to have delays with delivering our letters with sample orders. Normally the samples should arrive in 2-3 work days from order, but at the moment we have heard from our customers it may take up to a week or even more. And for example for samples to Finland or Germany the delivery may be only after 2-3 weeks of order. So again, we appreciate your patience in this matter, which we sadly cannot affect.

We are sending parcels out to our customers every work day with DPD. DPD has implemented a number of measures in response to COVID-19, including “Contact free delivery is now our standard process and customers will not be asked to sign our handheld units.”.
