How To Measure Curtains
Just choose the picture below which best suits your window and take the measurements shown for each of your windows. Please take the measurements in centimeters. Always use a steel tape when measuring to get accurate measurements.
CURTAINS
Measuring a Window with a pole
Width A is the length of the pole.
Measure the distance between the decorative baubles at the end of a pole.
Drop B is the curtain eye drop for Pencil pleat curtains, gathered heading curtains, Rod Pocket and Triple pleated curtains.
Measure the distance from the bottom of rings to where you want your curtain to finish.
EXCEPTION: Tab top and Eyelet curtains measure from the very top of the pole.
Measuring a Window with a curtain track
Width A is the length of the pole.

Drop B is the curtain drop.
Measure the distance from the top of track where you want your curtain to finish.
ROMAN BLINDS
Measuring a Window for an Inside Roman Blind
Width A is the width of roman blind
Measure the width of your window recess from wall to wall and DEDUCT 1 cm to ensure your blind can operate smoothly and fits within the recess.
This measurement is called ’Inside Recess’ (See fig. 1).
Your blind will be made to your given sizes.
Drop B is the roman blind drop
Measure the height of your window recess from top to sill.
Measuring a Window for an Outside Roman Blind
Width A is the width of roman blind
Measure the width that you would like your roman blind.
This measurement is called ’Outside Recess’ (See fig. 2).
Drop B is the roman blind drop
Measure the length that you would like your roman blind.
Your blind will be made to your given sizes.
